Their children Leah Persina, Charlotte Elizabeth and Mary Love were listed as living with them.³ William Page died on 21 February 1851 at Council Bluffs, Iowa, at age 40.

Edmond Francis Palmer Sr. appeared on the census of 1840 in the household of Joseph Ferrin Palmer and Mary Ellen Haven at Holliston, Middlesex, Massachusetts.¹ Edmond Francis Palmer Sr. was a witness Joseph and Mary and children emigrated from Massachusetts to Nauvoo, Illinois, along with other members of the extended Haven family. Eliza Ann said this of the journey: "In 1841 we left our native home for Nauvoo. Arrived there in May traveling by Canal, Railroad and Steam. The first to greet us on landing were our Prophet Joseph Smith and
Brigham Young. After shaking hands and bade us welcome Brother Joseph’s first question, had we any place to go, there were 4 families in the county. We had, for 2 of my half sisters were there."² He was baptized in the LDS church in 1847. He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Great Salt Lake, Utah Territory, in the household of his parents, Joseph Ferrin Palmer and Mary Ellen Haven.³ Edmond Francis Palmer Sr. married Eliza Ann Palmer, daughter of Thomas Palmer and Ann Smith, on 4 July 1859 at Peoa, Summit, Utah, USA. Edmond Francis Palmer Sr. appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Great Salt Lake Ward 8, Great Salt Lake, Utah Territory, in the household of his parents, Joseph Ferrin Palmer and Mary Ellen Haven.⁴ Edmond Francis Palmer Sr. and Eliza Ann Palmer appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Peoa, Summit, Utah, enumerated 13 June 1870. Their children Ann Eliza, Edmund Francis, Joseph Thomas and Mary Alberta were listed as living with them.⁵ Edmond Francis Palmer Sr. died on 22 June 1908 at Peoa, Summitt, Ut, at age 74. He was buried in June 1908 at Peoa, Summit, Ut.

     Edmund Francis Palmer Jr. was born on 21 February 1864 at Salt Lake City, Sl, Ut. He was the son of Edmond Francis Palmer Sr. and Eliza Ann Palmer. He married Emma Jane Wilkins on 17 December 1890 at Logan, Cache, Ut. Edmund Francis Palmer Jr. died on 21 December 1949 at Fort Hall, Bannck, Id, at age 85. He was buried on 26 December 1949 at Blackfoot, Bnghm, Id.

     Eliza Ann Palmer was born on 10 April 1845 at Exeter, Devonshire, England; with birth date also given as 8 March 1845.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Palmer and Ann Smith. Eliza Ann Palmer appeared on the census of 1851 in the household of Thomas Palmer and Ann Smith at Dist 12, Leamington Priors, Warwickshire, England; where Thomas is working as a rail laborer. A lodger living with the family, Henry Hathway, is also a rail laborer. Ann's age is given as 26, Thomas is 35 years old.¹ Eliza Ann Palmer was baptized in the LDS church in 1853. She witnessed the immigration of Thomas Palmer and Ann Smith in 1855 at New Orleans, Louisiana.² Eliza Ann Palmer married Edmond Francis Palmer Sr., son of Joseph Ferrin Palmer and Mary Ellen Haven, on 4 July 1859 at Peoa, Summit, Utah, USA. Eliza Ann Palmer appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Great Salt Lake City Ward, Great Salt Lake, Utah Territory, enumerated 4 June 1860, where she was living in the household of Asa and Lizie Calkins. Lizie was also from England and perhaps Eliza knew her before she emigrated..³ She and Edmond Francis Palmer Sr. appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Peoa, Summit, Utah, enumerated 13 June 1870. Their children Ann Eliza, Edmund Francis, Joseph Thomas and Mary Alberta were listed as living with them.⁴ Eliza Ann Palmer died on 21 January 1873 at Peoa, Summit, Ut, at age 27. She was buried in January 1873 at Peoa, Summit, Ut.
