Cordelia Blanche Neel appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Park City, Summit, Utah, in the household of Lydia Ann Neel and John Clay Neel.² Cordelia Blanche Neel married Kirk Elsworth Gray on 28 November 1906 at Boise, Ada Co, Idaho. Cordelia Blanche Neel and Kirk Elsworth Gray lived in 1908 at Old Richmond Street, El Cerrito, California. The El Cerrito Historical Society provides the following information. " Kirk Elsworth Gray and his wife Cordella, who had a son Gerald Kirk Gray, purchased a lot on Richmond Street in 1908. This was next door south of the George Barber home. He completed his home in 1911, at which time he moved in while working for Standard Oil. At the first city election for Incorporation on August 23, 1917, Mr. Gray was elected Trustee and chosen chairman or mayor of the first board."³ Cordelia Blanche Neel and Kirk Elsworth Gray appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of El Cerrito, Contra Costa, California, enumerated 10 January 1920, Living with Cordelia and Kirk is sister-in-law, Elise Neel, who is a widow, and her daughter Maxine.. Their children Gerald Kirk were listed as living with them.⁴ Cordelia Blanche Neel appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of El Cerrito, Contra Costa, California, enumerated 1930. Her children Gerald Kirk were listed as living with her.⁵ Cordelia Blanche Neel and Gerald Kirk Gray lived in 1942 at Richmond St, El Cerrito, Contra Costa, California.⁶ Cordelia Blanche Neel died on 22 August 1962 at Contra Costa, California, at age 83.⁷ Oakland Tribune: "Cordelia Blanche Gray, wife of the late Kirk E Gray, first mayor of El Cerrito, beloved mother of Gerald Kirk Gray and wife Yvonne of Walnut Creek. Survived by one sister, Alice Dilley of Los Angeles, two brothers James Neel of Santa Clara and Herbert Neel of Sacramento, also survived by four grandchildren. A resident of El Corrito for 52 years. A member of the Martinez Methodist Church. Past president of the Ladies Aid of El Cerrito, charter member of Richmond Temple no 86 Pythian Sisters, awarded 50 year pin.⁸ She was baptized in the LDS church on 13 May 2005.

McCutcheon on 21 February 1877 at Santa Clara, California.³ Cyrus Napoleon Neel and Rebecca J. McCutcheon appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Gilroy, Santa Clara, California, enumerated June 1880. Their children Cyrus Rea and Flavaus were listed as living with them.⁴ Cyrus Napoleon Neel married Elizabeth M. Kreuts, daughter of George Kreuts, circa 1900.⁵ Cyrus Napoleon Neel and Elizabeth M. Kreuts appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Colfax, Whitman, Washington, at Dist 95, enumerated 11 June 1900, In this census record, Rea is listed as a male.⁶ Cyrus Napoleon Neel and Elizabeth M. Kreuts appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Oaksdale, Whitman, Washington, enumerated 9 May 1910, Cyrus was living with his wife Elizabeth's father George Kreuts.. Their children Irene Birtha were listed as living with them.⁷ Cyrus Napoleon Neel and Elizabeth M. Kreuts appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of San Jose, Santa Clara, California, enumerated 10 January 1920, Living on the same street are siblings Rebecca, Roeann, and Thomas Benton. Their children Irene Birtha were listed as living with them.⁸ Cyrus Napoleon Neel and Elizabeth M. Kreuts lived in 1922 at San Jose, Santa Clara, California.⁹ Cyrus Napoleon Neel died on 21 January 1928 at Santa Clara, California.³

     Cyrus Rea Neel was born on 3 January 1880 at Santa Clara, California, USA.¹ He was the son of Cyrus Napoleon Neel and Rebecca J. McCutcheon. Cyrus Rea Neel appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Gilroy, Santa Clara, California in the household of his parents, Cyrus Napoleon Neel and Rebecca J. McCutcheon.² Cyrus Rea Neel appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Colfax, Whitman, Washington, in the household of Elizabeth M. Kreuts and Cyrus Napoleon Neel.³ Cyrus Rea Neel lived on 12 September 1918 at Enterprise, Wallowa, Oregon; where he was working as a sheepman. His father is living in LaCrosse, Washington.⁴ He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Butte, Wallowa, Oregon, enumerated 1920, where he was working as a sheepherder and was a boarder..⁵ He died on 17 December 1944 at Yakima, Washington, USA, at age 64.

      David Hugh Neel was also known as David Hugh Neal. He was born on 5 February 1806 at Madison Co., Kentucky. He was the son of John Neel Sr. and Rebecca Guess. David Hugh Neelimmigrated with probably John Neel Sr.and other members of the family in 1826 to Ray, Missouri.¹ David Hugh Neel married Avarilla Casper, daughter of William Casper and Avarilla Durbin, on 13 January 1839 at Ray County, Missouri.² David Hugh Neel appeared on the census of 1840 at Crooked River, Ray County, Missouri.³ In June 1850 brothers James and David H. Neel and their families left Missouri for California. They joined with the Justus Morse wagon train of Mormons headed for Utah on June 10, but struck out on their own on July 8. They probably arrived in the Salt Lake Valley in September 1850.⁴ He and Avarilla Casper appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Utah, Utah Territory, enumerated April 1851, Joseph McDowell, probably a nephew of Avarilla, is living with the family.. Their children Anastatia, William Caspar, Winfield Clay Webster and Emigratus Boone were listed as living with them.⁵ David Hugh Neel was living in October 1852 at San Mateo, California; Arrived in San Mateo, California after spending 18 months in Utah.¹ He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Gilroy, Santa Clara, California, enumerated 4 June 1860.⁶ He and Avarilla Casper appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Gilroy, Santa Clara, California, enumerated 1 August 1870. Their children Thomas Benton, Rebecca Jane, Roeann Richardson, Sterling Crittendon, Emigratus Boone, William Caspar, Winfield Clay Webster and Cyrus Napoleon were listed as living with them.⁷ David Hugh Neel and Avarilla Casper appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Gilroy, Santa Clara, California, enumerated 4 June 1880. Their children Rebecca Jane, Roeann Richardson, Sterling Crittendon, Emigratus Boone and Thomas Benton were listed as living with them.⁸ David Hugh Neel died on 14 April 1892 at Gilroy, Santa Clara, California, USA, at age 86; or died 12 Dec 1893.

Echo was a beautician in Tooele for ten years and was presently a "painter" for the Bureau of Reclamation at Flaming Gorge. She greatly enjoyed her job and was proud of her work and painting skills. She loved living on the "mountain" at Flaming Gorge. She enjoyed crafts, crochet, she kept an open home and took in extra kids. She dearly loved her family, children, grandchildren, and her dog "Tonka".She is survived by her husband, of Vernal; children, Christine (Jason) Rambo, Vernal; Neel (Tammy) Colton, Salt Lake City; Laurie (Mac) McIntire, Rock Springs, WY; Scott (Becky) Weyland, Magna; Bert Weyland, Tooele; Shane Weyland, Tooele; Chad (Jennifer) Weyland, Tooele; 10 grandchildren, Lacie, Tory, Robert, Christopher, Dalton, Dominique, Joe Eddie, Kurt Michael, Kari, Shaelee; parents of Lehi; brothers, Shirley Lee Neel, Jr., Murray; Dan (Madge) Neel, Lehi; sister, Cyndie (Kerry) Atkinson, Lehi.
