Christopher Page

M, b. 20 September 1670, d. 4 February 1751
     Christopher Page was born on 20 September 1670 at Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Thomas Page and Mary Hussey. He was among several hundred men who signed a petition sent to the Governor of Massachusetts and the only Page on the list.2 Christopher Page married Abigail Tilton, daughter of Daniel (or David) Tilton and Mehitabel Sanborn, on 14 November 1689 at Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire. He was brought before the town council, accused of tearing down a neighbor's fence along with a group of other men.2 Christopher Page was on a list of Hampton soldiers posted at Newcastle on 29 June 1708 at Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire. His length of service was from June 29 to July 13, 1708.3 He died on 4 February 1751 at Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire, at age 80; another date cited in family geealogies is 27 Feb 1750.

David Page

M, b. 26 March 1735
     David Page was born on 26 March 1735 at Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire. He was the son of David Page and Ruth Dearborn. He reportedly lived in both North Hampton and Chichester in Rockingham county.1 David Page married Bethia Holland, daughter of John Holland and Bethia Magoon. He participated in the Battle of Bunker Hill in the Rockingham, N.H. company of Captain Henry Dearborn along with other Dearborn and Batchelder relations.2 He signed the "Association Test" along with his father and many other Pages, Dearborns, and Batchelders. Signees were obligated to oppose British aggression.3

David Page

M, b. 1 November 1703, d. 9 January 1788
     David Page was born on 1 November 1703 at Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Christopher Page and Abigail Tilton. In the History of Rockingham County, N.H. we read: "Robert Page. The name Page is found in the early records of Hampton,
and David Page the father of Robert, was born there, but moved to North
Hampton where Robert was born. He married Sarah Dearborn, sister of
Gen. Henry Dearborn, and came to this place (Raymond) in 1755."2 David Page married Ruth Dearborn, daughter of John Dearborn and Abigail Batchelder, on 27 June 1728 at Hampton, Rockingham, Nh. When North Hampton was made a parish in 1738, David Page was listed as a land owner, with 12 acres acquired from the original owner Thomas Nudd. Christopher Page is listed as the previous owner of 10 acres.3 David Page married Ruth Smith on 5 April 1742. He was among the first settlers of Epping, New Hampshire, a town about ten miles west of Hampton. He and his son are listed on the first petition for the town in 1747. A number of David's children lived in Epping.1 David Page served in the New Hampshire militia in 1749 at Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire, where he is listed as a member of Col Samuel Moore's regiment, Capt Jonathan Prescott's company, that engaged in the Louisbourg expedition.4 He died on 9 January 1788 at Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire, at age 84. He Or died 9 Jun 1785.
