Aagot Marie Randby was the biological mother of Marie Kristiansen.1 Aagot Marie Randby appeared on the census of 1885 in the household of Ole Jacob Christensen Randby and Pauline Nilsen at 32 Meyersgade, Kristiana, Norway. Aagot's name is given as Aagat Marie Jorgensen; she is listed as a foster daughter of Ole and Pauline Randby.2 Aagot Marie Randby was confirmed into the state church on 17 April 1898 at Gamle Aker, Kristiania, Norway.3 She was baptized in the LDS church on 31 July 1899. She appeared on the census of 1900 in the household of Ole Jacob Christensen Randby and Pauline Nilsen at Kristiana, Norway; Aagot's last name is now given as Randby, although she's still listed as a foster daughter.
