Reuben Searcy married Susan Henderson on 23 April 1760 at Granville, North Carolina. Reuben Searcy married Susannah Elizabeth Jett in 1779 at Hanover, Virginia. Reuben Searcy died in 1815 at Nashville, Davidson, Tennesee.

     Richard Searcy was born on 17 March 1757 at Granville Co, North Carolina. He was the son of John Jr Searcy and Annis Unk. Richard Searcy married an unknown person circa 1778 at Virginia. He died on 19 June 1838 at Anderson Co, Kentucky, at age 81.

     Sarah Searcy was born in 1737 at Hanover, Virginia, USA. She was the daughter of John Searcy Sr. and Phoebe Hargreaves. Sarah Searcy married Leonard Linsey in 1760 at Granville Co, North Carolina. Sarah Searcy witnessed the New Tag of John Guess and Mary Linsey on 11 March 1780 at Granville, North Carolina; “John Guest bought 287 acres of land from Elisha Linsey with condition that John Guest is to maintain Leonard Linsey and wife Sarah for their lifetime. Wits:> Reuben Searcy, Elisha Linsey.² Sarah Searcy died in 1806.

     Squire Searcy was born circa 1805. He was the son of Richard Searcy and Rebecca Doyle.

     Susannah Searcy was born in 1735 at Hanover, Virginia. She was the daughter of John Searcy Sr. and Phoebe Hargreaves. Susannah Searcy died after 1783.

     William F. Searcy was born on 9 October 1807. He was the son of Richard Searcy and Susan "Dorcas" Alcorn.

     William Hargrave Searcy was born in 1723 at Nottingham, England. He was the son of John Searcy Sr. and Phoebe Hargreaves. William Hargrave Searcy married Kazeah Williams. William Hargrave Searcy died on 15 March 1783 at Granville Co, North Carolina. He was a witness to the fact that John Guess was living on 1 September 1795 at Granville, North Carolina; “John Gess of KY deed to William H. Searcy of Granville Co., for one-fifth part of an individual tract of land in Granville Co, NC."¹

     Obadiah Sedgwick married Priscilla Goddard, daughter of Edward Goddard and Priscilla d'Oyley or d'Oyly, on 10 July 1630 at Ogbourne, Wilt, Eng.

     Jacob Seek was born on 14 November 1816 at Virginia, USA. He married Eliza J Robinson. Jacob Seek appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Dist 75, Ray County, Missouri, enumerated 17 August 1850. Their children Mary J and Malissa Elizabeth were listed as living with them.¹ Jacob Seek died on 2 October 1888 at Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA, at age 71.

     Malissa Elizabeth Seek was born on 31 August 1841 at Missouri, USA.¹ She was the daughter of Jacob Seek and Eliza J Robinson.² Malissa Elizabeth Seek appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Dist 75, Ray County, Missouri, in the household of her parents, Jacob Seek.³ Malissa Elizabeth Seek married James M. Akers, son of Hugh Akers and Elizabeth Dunson, on 2 June 1859 at Ray County, Missouri, USA; Malissa's sister Mary J married James' brother William Akers.⁴ As of 2 June 1859,her married name was Akers.⁴ Malissa Elizabeth Seek and James M. Akers appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Richmond, Ray, Missouri, enumerated 10 September 1860, Living in the vicinity are James' brother Will and probable father-in-law Jacob Seek..⁵ Malissa Elizabeth Seek appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Camden, Ray, Missouri, in the household of James R. Akers.⁶ Malissa Elizabeth Seek and James M. Akers appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Richmond, Ray, Missouri, enumerated 27 July 1870. Their children Belle, James and Jacob A. were listed as living with them.⁷ Malissa Elizabeth Seek and James M. Akers appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Knoxville, Ray, Missouri, at Dist 132, enumerated 15 June 1900.⁸ Malissa Elizabeth Seek died on 1 June 1917 at Richmond, Ray County, Missouri, at age 75.¹
