      Ellender Meadows was also known as Eleanor Medders. She married John Vanderpool. Ellender Meadows married John Neel Sr., son of Hugh Neel and Mrs. Hugh Neel, on 19 November 1830 at Ray Co., MO; the widow of John Vanderpool, one of the original settlers of Ray county.¹ As of 19 November 1830,her married name was Neel.¹

     John Meddock was born circa 1670 at Boston, Massachusetts.¹ He married Elizabeth Stone, daughter of Simon Stone and Mary Whipple, on 6 November 1706 at Massachusetts.¹

     Mary Meddows married Samuel Davis, son of Dolor Davis and Margery Williard. Mary Meddows was born on 11 January 1665 or 1666. She died on 30 October 1710.

     Alice Mellor was born on 27 April 1815 at Holebottom, Shaw, Lancashire, England.^1,2 She was blessed on 28 April 1815 at Shaw, Lancashire, England. She was the daughter of James Mellor and Mary Hardman. Alice Mellor married John Woolstenhulme, son of James Woolstenhulme and Jane Greenhalgh, on 31 January 1836 at Prestwich, Lancaster, England. Alice Mellor married George Rhodes in 1849. Alice Mellor emigrated in 1849 from England; on the ship "Margaret." Arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah on 26 Sept 1853 in the company of Moses Clausen.³ She and George Rhodes appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of 6th Ward, St Louis, St Louis, Missouri, enumerated 23 July 1850. Her children Ellen and William were listed as living with her.⁴ Alice Mellor married Thomas Hill on 5 November 1856 at St. Louis, Saint Louis, Missouri. Alice Mellor and Thomas Hill appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Ogden, Weber, Utah Territory, enumerated 5 June 1860.⁵ Alice Mellor and Thomas Hill appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Ogden, Weber, Utah, enumerated 9 June 1880.⁶ Alice Mellor died on 12 February 1894 at Ogden, Weber, Utah, USA, at age 78. She was buried on 14 February 1894 at Ogden, Weber, Ut.

     James Mellor was born in 1789 at England. He was the son of James Mellor and Betty Lees. James Mellor married Mary Hardman, daughter of James Hardmon and Sarah Bower, on 10 December 1799 at Prestwich, Lancashire, England. James Mellor died on 12 June 1825.
